Huia Sauvignon Blanc shows a good aromatic intensity with bright floral note of elderflower and lime blossom. The wine is layered with flavours ranging from guava, melon, gooseberry and lime zest.
Because a small percentage of the wine was aged in a little neutral oak, it has the complexity and softness to be a delicious match with food.
Seafood like fresh oysters, prawns, scallops, steamed mussels and marinated fish are a given but this little juicy number is a hit with seasonal asparagus and a wide variety of cheeses.
