MANA Winegrowers — earning our place.

Marlborough is a pretty special place. Huia has called it home for over 30 years. Original owners, Claire & Mike Allan raised their daughters here. This place, this piece of land that has been called home for a family for almost 3 decades has nurtured and nourished many people who live on it and who visit it. There is a duty to return the favour. It was the wine that brings many of us here and through wine made with care, Marlborough has a future.

This philosophy is shared with a lot of other Marlborough grape-growers and wine-makers. A decade ago MANA Winegrowers was formalised with Huia as one of the founding members.

MANA is made up of organic farmers, who live, work and play in Marlborough, NZ. United by a commitment to hand-crafting stunning wines, sharing knowledge and safeguarding the land of one of the most beautiful places on earth. Our partners in this endeavour are Clos Henri, Hans Herzog, Rock Ferry and Te Whare Ra.

We are all certified organic producers. Organic in the vines. Organic in the cellar. No pesticides. No herbicides. This isn’t just about us. It’s about our next generation. It’s about nurturing an environment that can sustain us while we enjoy it but also those that come after. It’s about earning the right to stand in this place - tūrangawaewae.

It’s about crafting delicious wine that’s as close to nature as we make get it.
